How to create a subdomain for use with Blogger

Not all sites are meant solely for blogging. Some websites only include a blog for marketing purposes only. This is because blogs can drive traffic to your site. Each site visitor is a potential customer who can end up buying products or services on the website. I am going to show you how you can create a subdomain that can then be used as a custom domain on Blogger. Creating a subdomain in CPanel Most web hosting companies in Zimbabwe provide packages that come with CPanel and therefore I shall use it as an example. It is easy to create a subdomain in CPanel. A subdomain has two main purposes. It can act be used to host a different website or to organize the main domain so as to improve the user experience. If your main domain is 'example.com', then a subdomain can be 'blog.example.com'. To create 'blog.example.com', simply lo into CPanel and head on to the section written 'subdomains'. How to write and compile code as well as to publish android apps on a smartphone.

Getting Started
The most challenging part when getting started in developing mobile apps on a mobile device is finding the perfect Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Once you get the right IDE you might need to learn how to effectively use it before you can be productive. I have made all that easy by creating  a tutorial which covers all aspects from the tools you need and how to use the tools up to publishing your app. This article is just an overview of the course and you can jump into the tutorial  now

Prerequisites
Prior knowledge of how to develop simple android applications is an advantage as this course mainly focuses on how to use smart phones in the development process and therefore does not dwell much on teaching an in-depth knowledge of how to create different types of Android apps. However, if you are totally new to Android development you can still be able to learn how to write code and complete this tutorial at the same time by reading Java for Dummies and Android development for Dummies.

How lessons will be conducted
The tutorial is self paced and most of the learning material , for those who like to learn through reading, is available on this blog for free. For those learners who prefer video tutorials you need to subscribe to a YouTube channel. It is important to note that for a student's progress to be assessed or for interaction with the tutor to be made possible you have to join my Google Classroom. Send me an email to request the code to join my class.

What you will learn:
After completing the course, students shall be able to use AIDE to write and compile code for basic android apps. Students will also learn how to publish apps created using AIDE to the Google play store using just a smartphone.

Target Group
The course is targeted at beginner Android developers especially those who do not have access to personal computers to practice writing code on. It is also aimed at those coders who would like to learn how to use a smartphone to write and run code for the purposes of completing a project on time or just to horn their coding skills on the go.

About the instructor
The course was created by Stewart Mukonzi who has more than five years experience in software development. He is a life long learner and a hobbyist photographer. Stewart is currently studying towards a Bsc Honours in Multimedia Technology.
